The data, drawings and other information which you publish, upload or disseminate will be stored in the CFI system and will be accessible to third parties who have access rights to that information even if you terminate your involvement on the project or cease being a CFI user. In addition, if you have been invited to join a project by another CFI user, any data, drawings and other information which you input into the CFI system may be viewed and accessed by any other CFI user if the Administrator on the project provides that user with access rights to the information. That information will be available to CFI users with access rights, whether or not you actively publish or disseminate the information and even if you terminate your involvement on the project or cease being a CFI user.
CFI will take reasonable and prudent precautions to ensure that your personally identifiable data is protected against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure and honors your choices for its intended use. We use advanced firewall protection and anti-virus software to protect the personal information volunteered on the Website and to minimize the risk of a security breach. Although we test the security of our Website and want to provide you with the most protection possible, please understand that sharing information over the Internet can never be fully secure.
