Inaugural Michigan Maximo User Group Meeting a Resounding Success

This week the inaugural meeting of the Michigan Maximo User Group was held at CFI headquarters in Southfield Michigan and was a resounding success! In our very first meeting, there were over 40 Michigan-based Maximo users in attendance and the feedback was ALL positive.
MiMUG is meant to offer all in attendance an opportunity to network with peers, obtain important product updates and share ideas, challenges, and questions with one another. Attendees also sat in on two great Maximo presentations now available to download.
- Rick White of IBM presented “What’s new in Maximo 7.5”
- Pam Denning, also of IBM, presented on BIRT / Cognos Reporting
We are already working on topics and presenters for our next MiMUG meeting tentatively scheduled for the spring of 2012. Details to follow.
Again, special thanks are in order for both our IBM speakers- Pam Denning and Rick White as well as CFI’s very own Lon Stone and Steve Mahoney who were integral to the success of this meeting.
