Maintaining a facilities department can be a challenging task; staff members leave, new staff are hired, and staff are moved, all without notification. Field verification or regular audit is necessary for even the most carefully maintained space database to reflect the current conditions.
At regular intervals, CFI’s technicians will provide field verification. Room configurations, employee locations, and facilities drawings will be compared to existing drawings. Additionally, CFI has fulltime architects and drafters on staff to create as-built drawings for new buildings or remodeled spaces. New CAD drawings can include architectural background drawings as well as space polyline drawings, and they are created from scratch, electronic scans of legacy paper drawings, or conversions of other electronic CAD formats. CFI technicians will even measure room configurations and provide field measurement services where accurate CAD drawings do not exist. |
